The Canterbury Tales General Prologue

In the General Prologue of The Canterbury Tales the first twelve lines is seen as an imagery to springs vitality. The General Prologue opens with the description of spring, and the refreshment that spring brings. The narrator indicates that the spring makes people feel the proneness to go into pilgrimages. It indicates the months responsibilities, how April has vitalized March with its showers when March root were dry and April rains has brought it back to life.
