The first obvious point in twain stories is love. This love is toward the opposite sex and toward the family. Love has been shown throughout both stories in most of the chapters. Stories have shown that the main characters have special connections toward their parents, because their age forces them to depend on their families and they are not get enough to give love to the opposite sex. For instance in the first novel it is shown that Christopher the main character of the story has coarse love toward his draw. This love forces him to deny the fact that his bugger off was still alive though he saw the letters from his mother as he says; “mother had been alive all the time, and set out had lied about this. In the second story which is Hugo Pepper, Hugo was raised in reindeer herders and he had never seen his real parents in his life. Therefore he knew Harvi and Sarvi as his parents. However the strong love toward his real parents made him displace to Harbor Height and learn more about his parents, though it could not make any difference in his life.
