RACV is proud of its rich history, which began on 9 December 1903 at the Port Phillip cabaret Hotel. The Club was established to serve the puritanic community, promote and advocate for motor motorcars and provide facilities and services for members. Since its stern in 1903 RACV has steadfastly honoured these aims. on that point has been continuity of service in the services and products offered to members, with RACV positioned as the states peak protagonism body on all motoring and mobility issues and taking a leading role in motor-related educational and environmental issues.
