Introduction
Strategic formulation is an integral part of an institution to establish itself amongst the competition. This put down exemplifies where an institution currently stands, where it wants to be in the immediate and aloof future, and how it will achieve the goals and objectives established within the designing. Institutional goals and objectives argon created in accordance with the institutional mission statement, vision, and core value associated with the goal theory (Thorpe, 2009). Now that accreditation has been granted to the institution pending stipulations, a strategic plan must be created to bump into the deficit as well as a measuring stick standard.
Self study and strategic planning
The self-study will serve as a vital piece of the puzzle to form a valuable foundation. The report contains institutional assessments to be used as resources and feedback indicative of what is working and what must be improved upon to fit the university partnership, stakeholders, and constituents. The compilation of information from the self-study in conjunction with the recommendations from the commission squad visit would be accounted, and incorporated into the plan to better the institution.




The strategic planning process will ensure that an institution maintains its competitory edge, adapts to the constantly changing internal and external environments, keeping in compliance with budget constraints or modifications, bringing the institutional community together to collaborate to better the institution as a whole, and to feel valued and making a positive pertain and difference (Lerner, A. L., 1999). Productivity and effectiveness will increase in part to the efficiency of strategic planning (Thorpe, 2009).
The strategic planning process
