Books and literature take for been available throughout history as tools used to dramatize one’s mind and vision. The process of construe has enabled our nation to acquire skills to imagine and visualize objects or concepts that we bath non see, touch, or feel. What happens when reading takes a back seat to today’s engine room? “ telly and Reading” is based on the opinions from Marie Winn; a self-aggrandising author dedicated to studying the effects television has on children’s ability to use their imagination. Over the decades, different changes in cultural trends have had either an adverse or adept effect on society. Televisions popularity has greatly depreciated society’s imagination and ability to be creative.
Literature has helped people match spoken communication with their own visual pictures or events. Books became of less importance in today’s culture as television’s popularity cultivated. Television is not just a form of pastime with no set backs but a form of degradation of a person’s capability to explore and envision. A lot of these set backs are not publicized or taken as seriously as they are.



There is not much pressure on society to change their habits of ceremony television because it is not looked down upon. What we see as “ sane” and “trendy” is passed down to our children and so forth.
