Reconciling your checkbook with your periodic savings bank controversy is one of the most basic habits you can spring that will help you manage your money efficiently, yet millions of Americans dont do this on a regular basis. With the electronic age of online banking, bill pay, and E-statements (statements received by email) many view this as old fashioned, but to the confusion of many it is still very beneficial, even today. Although your bank branches thousands of proceedings a day, and in most cases accurately, they argon still non free from error. Most financial institutions only allow 60 days for an incorrect transaction to be reported, leaving you obligated for any error after that point. It is also much easier to find an error in one single bank statement as opposed to going through several. Errors by the financial institution arent the only problems that may occur.
