The Canterbury Tales is a collection of short-change stories written in the late fourteenth century by Geoffrey Chaucer. In different kinds of stories Chaucer describe passel from all walks of sustenance in the Medieval Period. There are thirty pilgrims that Chaucer describes, and Chaucer mixes his purview of the pass through.
The pass through didnt care much about his appearing; he is old and thin and a choleric office and by his temper was bellicose. His beard was closely shaven to his skin, and his tomentum was tonsured style. He likes to wear an overcoat bluish in color. As much he didnt care of the show he cared for money and status. Though, back then status was exceedingly important in society, as was money because thats how would people get treated by their class. The pass through had money because he would steel his master some of his fields, he liked to be better than anyone even his master key. People knew about it but wouldnt even dare to put a word and he was always cognizant of that. He knew how to play others, thats wherefore no one dared to talk; its farcical how no one ever said anything. No one would say anything because he would dominate them with his scurrilous language.
He was a lower-middle-class carpenter, but since he had control of the manor, he had moved to the speed class, and he would do anything just to stay on top. The reeve would be venerating, when the lord would call him up, but he didnt get to know his other side. The reeves lord didnt know his reeve is using deceit to crystalise money and power; he never would of suspect of him because the reeve would buy him gifts and thats how the reeve gains the lords place; he was fortuitous he never found out. The reeve would come with a bravado attitude with the lord.
