Have you ever noticed an interesting behavior from a family member or a help? At my place of employment (school) I frequently observe many behaviors, but the one I am sacking to discuss has to do with an eighteen year old girl, that I will call Jill. Jill has a audition disability and wears identifying aids. On a daily basis, she acts as if she is completely deaf(p) and can not mind the teachers. Please notice I said the teachers, when with her friends she seems to hear just fine. This behavior can be frustrating because the teachers are forever repeating the same involvement to her two or three times before she acknowledges them. Although, she does hear the staff when talking to her she often responds with what or what did you say.
A superior example of her behavior is when we ask her to complete a task, provide her with instruction, direction, or just nearly anything.

Jills parents were notified after a team meeting on Jill and asked to bring her for a hear check-up. During the appointment the parents expressed the concerns of the school and their own concerns about Jills lack of hearing. They asked that if it was possible to schedule a hearing exam.
