One thing that granddaddy exchangeables to tell me stories about is a battle that was fought between my ancestors and frequent Custer. He said that it was a huge event that took arrange where General Custer and all of his soldiers were killed by the Sioux when they tried to come and plump us from the Black Hills because on that point was gold there and they precious it. Grandpa calls it “Custer’s last stand” but my draw calls it “The battle of little big horn”, but I’ve been toldit’s the same thing. Some of the other older mint at the reservation will tell me stories about it too. It sounds in reality exciting but I’m sword lily I wasn’t there because it sounds dangerous too. I don’t like that so many of my ancestors have had to go through with(predicate) such hard times to get to where they argon, and where they are is non that great. The reservation seems so poor. A lot of the buildings on the reservations are run down and they don’t seem genuinely safe. It’s a lot distinct being on the reservation than it is being at home. On the reservation everyone knows everyone’s name. It is a lot smaller of a community than it is in the city where we live.
At my teach there are not too many other Native Americans and grandma says that is because there is not too many of us left. She also saysthat a lot of pile that do not look like me may have Native American blood because pile do not always fall in have it away with people that look like them. Sometimes at school I feel like all of my friends are different from me but grandma says that diversity is the one thing that everyone has in common and that we should celebrate it every day. She alsosaid that I should be glad that there are so many different people to go to school with because then I can instruct about other cultures too. I can’t appreciation to get to grandma’s house and hear more of her stories. I wonder what they will tell me about neighboring time.
