In Libya, rebel groups are currently fighting their dictator Muammar Gaddafi to gain rights, and a new democratic government. The rebels came to numberher in huge masses and held peaceful protests and rallies, but their human rights were profaned when Gaddafi ordered the military troops to open fire and stamp out the innocent civilians. An international organization known as the coupled Nations was formed in 1945 after the defeat of the Axis Powers in order to ensure protection for innocent civilians from situations like in Libya. This union would also help to sustain world peace, and stop a third world war from breaking out. On December 10th, 1948, the General Assembly of the United Nations proclaimed the universal proposition Declaration of Human Rights (UN).
